Cacao is a fruit. But for centuries, the delightful fruit juice from the cacao fruit has been flowing into the ground. The industry is solely interested in the beans to make chocolate, and for us this doesn't make any sense at all. Firstly, it's wasteful. Secondly, you're throwing away farmers' income. By using the fruit in our products, cocoa farmers are now earning extra income.

So it's strange to only eat the seeds (the cacao beans). Especially since the fruit is healthy, delicious, and an additional source of income for cacao farmers who often cannot make a decent living from just selling cacao beans.
